Vixy is one of the most useful early-game Pals in Palworld. The adorable golden Vixen-looking Pal is an essential Pal to have at your base at all times to keep your base stocked up on resources. This is due to Vixy’s unique Partner Skill “Dig Here” which allows it to dig up Palspheres, gold coins, and arrows when assigned to a ranch. So having a Vixy or 2 at your base will save you multiple trips to farm Paldium for Palspheres. This guide will tell you Vixy location and how to catch Vixy in Palworld as well as how to breed it.
You can also enhance Vixy using a Pal Essence Condenser to increase the level of its Partner Skill. At levels 3 and 4, it will start digging up Mega Spheres as well.
Where to find Vixy in Palworld
Vixy can be found relatively close to the starting area of Palworld. It spawns regularly around the Small Settlement west of the Plateau of Beginnings and south of the Desolate Church. Vixy spawns in a vertical strip of land during both day and night. The best way to get to Vixy location is to fast Travel to the Desolate Church and continue southwards.
How to catch Vixy in Palworld
Vixy might be easy to find but it is a very delicate Pal. It will not put up much of a fight and will try to run away making it hard to catch Vixy. However, try not to be too aggressive or you might end up killing it. Sure, you can find another one if that happens but you will need to catch as many as possible. It is always a good idea to capture at least 10 of a Pal when you are in its habitat for the additional EXP.
Vixy is a Neutral Pal making it weak against Dark-type Pals, so bringing in a Pal with the Dark element can make the fight easier. We, however, recommend doing the work yourself with whatever basic melee weapon you have equipped. This will help you make sure to not accidentally kill it.
How to breed Vixy in Palworld
If you are not feeling like going out to Catch Vixy yourself, you can simply breed it using a combination of different Pals. To breed Vixy, you will need a male and a female Pal from the table below.

You can choose any pair from the list above, but we recommend going for the pair that gives you the best Passive skills. For example, If you have a Pal with the Serious or Artisan passive skill, use it as a parent and the Vixy resulting from breeding will also have that Passive Skill.

To actually start breeding Vixy, First make sure to have a Breeding Farm built at your base which is only available after reaching level 19. Then manually lift each of the parent Pal and assign them to the Breeding Farm. Prepare as many cakes as the number of Vixies you need to hatch. Cakes require the following items:
- Flour x5
- Red Berries x8
- Milk x7
- Eggs x8
- Honey x2
You will also need a cooking pot and a Pal with high-level Kindling to cook the cakes. The best pals for this job are Jormuntide Ignis or Suzaku.
Once the cakes are done, put them into the Breeding Farm chest. The pals assigned to the Breeding Farm will consume the cakes and lay Common Eggs.
Now build a few Pal Egg Incubators and place the Common Eggs into them. Make sure the Egg is comfortable by maintaining the surrounding temperature. If it seems cold, build a fireplace to speed up the breeding process. Once the Incubation is done, hold the interact button to hatch the egg
