Top 10 Best Cars in Cyberpunk, Ranked

10.   Thorton Mackinaw “Beast”

Cost: NA

Street Cred: NA

WeaponsNA
Top Speed (mph)164
Horsepower (Hp)560
WindscreenBulletproof glass
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerMilitech

“Beast” is a unique modified version of the Throton Mackinaw pickup truck, used by Claire Russel to race in Night City’s Death races. This is one of the most iconic cars in Cyberpunk 2077. Major modifications include a more powerful engine, racing suspension, and bolt-on armor. The name is appropriate for this souped-up and armored pickup truck as enemy lead can never touch you so long as you are in the “belly of the Beast”.

From a driving standpoint, the Beast is great, it has decent acceleration, an impressive 164 mph top speed, and exceptional handling qualities on Night City streets as well as the uneven terrain of the Badlands. The only thing the Beast lacks is mounted weaponry, which makes it fall short of an optimal choice for vehicular combat.

How to get the Beast

You can get Beast by completing the side job “The Beast in Me”, however, your focus is not to win all races but to qualify for the final race where you must then follow Peter Sampson, who killed Claire’s husband Dean in an earlier race, off the track after his car gets damaged. You can choose dialogue which can then lead to Claire killing or sparing Sampson, both outcomes will get you Beast but convincing Claire to spare Sampson will also get you Sampson’s Type 66 “Cthulhu” as a gift for saving his life.

9.   Thorton Colby “Little Mule”

Cost: 41,000

Street Cred: 26

Weaponstwo machine guns on outboard mounts
Top Speed (mph)140
Horsepower (Hp)369
WindscreenCrystal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerThorton

The Little Mule is a nomad-modified version of the Thorton Colby CX410 Butte which is a utility pickup truck. The Little Mule is completely overhauled and modified to suit the nomad lifestyle, major modifications include swapping out standard engines for stronger ones, light armor on the body, a crystal dome holoprojection system, improved suspension, and of course two machine guns on outboard mounts.

As far as performance is concerned, it has some of the best handling characteristics of all available cars, the tail doesn’t tend to oversteer like one of the sports cars and it performs exceptionally well while off-roading over Badlands terrain. The machine guns are also a great add-on, making the Little Mule a great car for Cyberpunk gigs in the Badlands, a good option for general usage like getting around town, however, it is not recommended for street racing due to a relatively low top speed.

How to get Little Mule

Thorton Colby’s “Little Mule” can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for 41,000 Eurodollars, a steal considering that it is weaponized, armored, cheap, and has a low street cred threshold making it ideal for gigs early in the game.

8.   Rayfield Aerondight “Guinevere”

Cost: 155,000

Street Cred: 50

WeaponsNA
Top Speed (mph)190
Horsepower (Hp)950

ManufacturerRayfield
Aerondight Specifications

The Rayfield Aerondight “Guinevere” is arguably the most stylish, sleek, and luxurious ride in Cyberpunk 2077, its design unique among all of its luxury counterparts. The Guinevere is not about practicality, it is not armed or armored as it, like the Caliburn, is made for the class who makes others do the dirty work for them while they enjoy the finer things in life. In Night City, it’s often style over substance, and the Guinevere does not disappoint when it comes to visual appeal and style.

Unfortunately, the Guinevere despite having an impressive top speed and acceleration, handles like hunk of steel on wheels. However as far as looks and style go, it still is one of the best cars in Cyberpunk 2077.

How to get Rayfield Aerondight

After reaching 50 street cred, you will be able to purchase the Guinevere from the AUTOFIXER net page for 155,000 Eurodollars. Of course, the price and street cred threshold are outrageous, however, disregarding all the practical reasons for why you should buy this car, such as smooth ride, high speeds, and beautiful design, you should buy it simply because you can, and others can’t, pretty much the same reason why rich people buy cars like this, to show that you made it to the big leagues.

TIP

You can get discount shards by completing the “Just Another Story” gigs for Muamar. these discount shards stack and can cut the hefty prices for all cars on Auto-Fixer Terminals. We recommend using these for the most expensive cars to get the best value.

7.   Thorton Mackinaw “Demiurge”

Cost: NA

Street Cred: NA

WeaponsNA
Top Speed (mph)~100
Horsepower (Hp)1000+
WindscreenGlass
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerThorton

The Demiurge is a highly modified version of the Throton Mackinaw truck, it is effectively a monster truck. Driving the Demiurge is in stark contrast to most vehicles in Cyberpunk thanks to its large tires, two torsion axles, a double-damper suspension, and a 1000 HP engine, it’s not something you would necessarily use for speed, rather, it is more suited to tasks like mowing down enemies, driving over oncoming cars and navigating extremely rough and rocky terrain.

How to get the Demiurge Monster Truck

Demiurge is tied to the longest running Easter Egg in Cyberpunk, the FF:06:B5 mystery. The complete FF:06:B5 Easter Egg is one of the hardest puzzles in Cyberpunk but thankfully there is another way to get the Monster Truck. This requires you to complete the hidden maze in the Arasaka Tower 3D arcade game.

This will give coordinates to a location out in the Badlands. Head out to that location and look for an old mattress. Now you must then stand over this mattress for one in-game hour after which you will pass out and be woken up by Polyhistor. You will then close your eyes momentarily and Polyhistor will disappear. Once you get in the Demiurge, it will be added to your collection of cars in Cyberpunk.

6.   Militech Hellhound

Cost: 160,000

Street Cred: 26

WeaponsTwo nose-mounted machine guns Roof-mounted missile pod
Top Speed (mph)~120
Horsepower (Hp)820
WindscreenCrystal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerMilitech

The Hellhound is a doomsday prepper’s wet dream, it’s not the ride you’d show off your drifting skills in, nor is it something you’d pick up a girl in for a first date (though Panam would probably approve); the Hellhound is the apex of all heavily armed and armored best cars in Cyberpunk 2077. Manufactured by Militech, the Hellhound sports six-wheel drive, heavy armor plating, crystal dome holoprojection system, airless tires, a pair of nose-mounted machine guns, and a roof-mounted missile pod. In addition to its guns and missiles, the Hellhound works well as a battering ram as it can use its weight and bulk to push enemy vehicles off the road.

How to get the Hellhound

The Militech hellhound can be acquired from the AUTOFIXER netpage for 160,000 eurodollars. Expensive? Sure, but the Hellhound is Cyberpunk’s version of a tank and, as the name implies, would probably walk you through hell if needed. Better to pay eddies and stay alive rather than die and have your chooms pay two gold coins to the boatman before they light your corpse on fire.

5.   Quadra Type-66 “Hoon”

Cost: NA

Street Cred: NA

WeaponsMounted Frontal Machine Guns
Top Speed (mph)185
Horsepower (Hp)845
WindscreenCrystal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerQuadra

One of the best weaponized cars in Cyberpunk was added in the patch 2.0 and can be acquired for free.

The Type-66 “Hoon” is a show of respect towards the rally driver Ken Block who passed away on 2nd January 2023. The Hoon resembles Ken’s 1965 Ford Mustang “Hoonicorn” RTR, a car specially built for his Gymkhana video series, and the name “Hoon” is a reference to the Hoonigan Racing Division, which was a racing team founded by Ken.

The Hoon has it all, an extremely powerful engine, impressive top speed, lightning-fast acceleration, and decent handling both on and off-road. The car tends to feel slippery to those who are uninitiated to drifting and using the handbrake to get around corners but you quickly get used to it. The car also has armor plating, and mounted machine guns which, combined with the car’s amiability towards drifting, makes it an extremely suitable choice for vehicular combat, Ken Block would certainly approve of the guns.

How to get the Hoon

Another great thing about the Hoon is that you get it for free, without effort, or bloodshed, all you need to do is find it. The Hoon can be found in a Northside warehouse in the northeastern part of Watson, as soon as you enter the car’s vicinity, the side job “I’m in Love with My Car” will start automatically, Johnny Silverhand will appear beside the car and ask you to try and get inside, behind the car there will be a collapsed metal shelf, covering a small container which will have the car keys. The quest will end as soon as you enter the Hoon.

4.   Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech

All the Cyberpunk promo and cinematic trailers featured the Turbo-R V-Tech as V’s car. This car embodies the cinematic dream girl, with the beauty of Aphrodite and the wisdom of Athena. The Turbo-R has a striking wedge shape, unique among all sports cars, even more impressive is its performance with lightning-fast acceleration, 182 mph top speed, and superb handling. The Turbo-R is a head-turner no matter what you do, whether you’re on a serene pleasure drive or pushing the limits in a street race with bullets whizzing by. Its utility and iconic status makes Turbo-R V-Tech one of the best cars in Cyberpunk 2077

How to get

You will obtain the Turbo-R V-Tech at the end of the side job “Sex On Wheels,” which essentially involves going to Rancho Coronado in Santo Domingo and getting behind the wheel. To unlock this side job, however, you must have completed the gig “Life’s Work.” In this gig, you are tasked with extracting a talented techie, Jake Estevez, who has found himself in bad blood with some higher-ups in the 6th Street Gang, his employer.

3.   Mizutani Shion “Coyote”

Cost: 77,000

Street Cred: 34

Weaponstwo machine guns on outboard mounts
Top Speed (mph)199
Horsepower (Hp)570
WindscreenCrystal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerQuadra

Unlike its base model which can barely last on the well-paved roads of Night City, the Coyote outclasses it and several other cars in every quantifiable domain of vehicular performance. The Coyote has been upgraded by the Nomads, modifications include reinforcements, weapons, and improved suspension, which enable it to “cut through harsh terrain like a laser knife through butter”.

From a driving standpoint, the Coyote handles like a dream in the Badlands, making light work of the bumpy terrain that challenges even the most elite rides. On city streets, it showcases exceptional speeds and rapid acceleration, making it one of the best cars in Cyberpunk 2077. The Coyote comes with machine guns on outboard mounts which makes it an outstanding choice for jobs involving vehicular combat or any activity in the Badlands which will most likely involve vehicular combat as well if you don’t like getting out every few minutes.

How to get

Mizutani Shion “Coyote” be acquired from the AUTOFIXER net page for 77,000 Eurodollars, a bargain at this price for all the performance, style, and destructive potential it comes with.

2.   Herrera Outlaw “Weiler”

Cost: NA

Street Cred: NA

WeaponsMounted Frontal Machine Guns
Top Speed (mph)186
Horsepower (Hp)755
WindscreenCrustal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerHerrera

The Outlaw, is one of the 2 best cars in Cyberpunk in every way. Coming with an impressive top speed of 186 mph, a crystal dome windscreen, armor plating, bulletproof tires, and machine guns. The Herrera Outlaw Weiler is what you get when a tank and a hypercar have a love child, this car has both style and substance.

The Weiler is armored but not to the extent that you will survive an endless barrage of enemy fire, you’ll need to rely on some expert driving to avoid getting blown up, however, with less armor come exceptional speed and handling qualities which will make it shine in jobs involving vehicular combat such as “The Beast in Me” side job with Claire. The Weiler will enable you to handle the streets with ease making it the best car in Cyberpunk for racing, second only to our next entry.

How to get

The Weiler is given to you as a reward by Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes for completing the side job “Baby Let Me Take You” where you must steal a truck full of medical equipment from Arasaka Docks. “Baby Let Me Take You” will become available after you complete the side job “Just Another Story” quest at least seven times in which you essentially have to boost rare rides for Muamar to refit and later sell.

1.   Rayfield Caliburn

Cost: 135,000

Street Cred: 50

WeaponsNA
Top Speed (mph)211
Horsepower (Hp)1660
WindscreenCrustal Dome
DrivetrainAll-Wheel Drive
ManufacturerRayfield

The fastest and the best car in Cyberpunk is Rayfield Caliburn with an impressive top speed of 211 mph. The only thing you might complain about is the price tag, but rest assured that it will be worth it.

From a driving standpoint, the Caliburn is perfect, it is the fastest car and yet it handles very well, a well-timed pull on the handbrake allows it to make almost any sharp turn, and exceptional acceleration, thanks to its powerful engine, allows you to quickly recover speed. From the combat aspect, a genuine consideration in Night City, the Caliburn is ill-suited since the car does not come with mounted weapons, and its crystal dome windscreen will force you to open the doors and shoot whatever weapons you have equipped. The shortcomings in combat capabilities are to be expected since the Caliburn is made for people who have other people do their dirty work for them, while they speed away on clear roads to impress whatever supermodel is at their side.

How to get the Caliburn

Once at 50 street cred, you can buy the Caliburn from the AUTOFIXER net page for 135,000 eurodollars. You can, however, with a little bit of effort, get the black-colored variant of the Caliburn called Murkmobile in the side job “Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever”. To get the Murkmobile, you must complete the main job “Ghost Town” where you help Panam Palmer recover her ride and eliminate Nash and his Rafen friends at their hideout near Rocky Ridge. Once you cross 40 street cred, a quest will appear on your map at the same location where the Shiv hideout was, the quest will start when you get to the location, and in an old shipping container, you will find the Murkmobile. A data shard nearby will reveal the story of its supposed owner which is almost the same as that of Batman, who in this story is Murk Man, whatever happened to Murk Man remains unclear, but you get a cool reference to the Batman universe, and more importantly a Batmobile.
