How To Get Azur’s Set in Elden Ring?

Magic Drip

In Elden RIng, the Aruz set is known as one of the best sets for the mage or magic-based build due to its high statistics. Azur is one of the 2 famous Primeval Sorcerers in the lore of Elden Ring. You can find them both in optional areas of the game. Unfortunately, getting Azur’s set is a bit tedious and requires a few long steps. To make this journey easier, here is a guide on how to get the Azur’s set in the Elden Ring.

How to get Azur’s Armor Set in Elden Ring?

Azur’s Set and sorceries in Elden Ring are closely tied with the Sorceress Sellen’s questline. To get the set you must complete Sellen’s quest and side with her whenever needed. It is possible to miss out on this quest and armor set if you do the wrong thing. Thankfully we are here to guide you through it all.

1. Find Primeval Sorcerer Azur and get Comet Azur

To begin the process of finding the Azur’s Set, you’ll first need to reach Mt. Gelmir. This location can be accessed through the Altus Plateau. Once at Mt. Gelmir, stick towards the west location and you’ll soon find yourself at the Seethewater River.

From here, keep going west again through the Hermit Village. Until you reach a site of grace on your left, turn south. Cross the lava lake and keep going until you reach a slope on a cliff. Go down the slope and you’ll find the Primeval Sorcerer Azur there. Interact with him and he will give you one of the best sorceries in Elden Ring, Comet Azur.

2. Talk to Sorceress Sellen

The next step is to talk to Sorceress Sellen who can be found in the Waypoint Ruins Cellar, Limgrave. Down the cellar, you’ll find the Mad Pumpkin Head boss. Defeat him and go into the room nearby and find the sorceress there. Talk to her and she will offer to become her apprentice. This is the start of her quest.

You can do this step before going to get the Comet spell as it doesn’t affect the outcome. Talk to her again and this time bring up the Azur spell. Once the conversation stops, she will give you the Sellian Sealbreaker. This item is used to get the Lusat’s Set which is hidden in the cave in Caelid.

Once you find the Primeval Sorcerer Lusat, get the Stars of Ruin spell and go back to Sellen again. Sellen will now give you another task which requires you to find her real body imprisoned in Witchbane Ruins near the Fourth Church of Marika. She will ask you to take her the Primal glintstone. This glintstone is to be transferred to her new body in Ranni’s Rise. This location is found after defeating the Loretta boss in the Caria Manor.

The next step is to talk to Jerren who is found inside the Redmane Castle where you previously fought General Radagn. (If you haven’t, you can do it now). Talk to him and then head back to the Witchbane Ruins to find Jerren near Sellen’s body.

3. Which sign to choose?

After talking to him, you will now need to go to the Academy of Raya Lucaria to defeat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. After the defeat, go outside the hall to find two summoning signs by the door; Gold and Red. The red sign would make you go up against Sellen while the gold sign would make you her ally.

At this point, you need to choose the Gold Sign if you want to get the armor. The fight will begin against Jerren whom you’ll have to defeat. Once done, go talk to Sellen and rest at the site of grace. Sellen would be gone by the time you are done.

Lastly, go back to the Primeval Sorcerer Azur’s location and you’ll find the complete set in place of his body. And that’s how you’ll get Azur’s set – one of the best mage build sets in Elden Ring.
