The fight for democracy is unforgiving and requires you to spill blood and oil and a whole bunch of medals (Link). Helldivers 2 features a unique take on the Battlepass system called the Warbonds. These Warbonds feature a variety of Weapons and cosmetics that you can unlock by spending medals. How to unlock new weapons in Helldivers 2
You can unlock new weapons in Helldivers 2 once you have enough Medals by heading to the Acquisition Menu. To dothis,press “R” or “Square” while on your ship. Now you will be able to view 2 different Warbonds. Helldivers Mobilize is the free Warbond that you can spend Medals on to unlock weapons whereas you will need to spend real-world cash for the Steeled Veterans Warbond.
The Helldivers Mobilize Warbond has a total of 10 pages and features weapons, gadgets, emotes, and cosmetics. The price for each weapon will progressively increase after each page, meaning you will have to grind for these medals. Every weapon that you unlock from these Warbonds will then be available in your armory.
How to get Medals in Helldivers 2
Luckily there are some ways to get Medals fast in Helldivers 2. Below are a few of the ways to get medals in Helldivers 2.
- Points of Interests – Ifyou ever find an opportunity to look around during your dives on different planets, go the extra mile by exploring as you will often find areas of interest like containers, pods, and vaults that might contain some Medals.
- Personal Orders – Personal orders are personalized daily challenges that will often reward you with a decent number of Medals upon completion.
- Complete Missions and operations – The best way to earn Medals in Helldivers 2 is to complete Missions and Operations on the Galactic War map. The Higher the difficulty of an operation the more Medals will it offer upon completion.
