In Cyberpunk 2077, Judy Alvarez is a character and a romance option for players. She is known as a skilled Braindance technician and belongs to the Moxes gang. Judy’s questline officially starts in Act 2 but you are first introduced earlier in the game.
As an available romance option, there are several dialogue options and actions that would make you successful in capturing the technician’s heart. To help you with that, this guide will list all the instances where your choices matter to bring Judy and V closer to Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077?
The first choice you’ll need to make is during the character customization. If you plan to romance Judy, you must customize or select a character with a female body and voice. This is because Judy is only interested in females and thus would interact with you romantically if this requirement is met.

Judy Alvarez is first introduced during the quest for The Information at Lizzie’s bar. This quest has no effect on your future with Judy just an introduction. Continue with the main quests following The Information that involve some opportunities to talk to Judy. Here’s how to proceed with the missions and what to do.
- Automatic Love: When Judy asks you to call her, reply positively.
- The Space in Between: If you get a prompt to call her, do so every time.
- Complete Disasterpiece and Double Life.
During all these missions, make sure to always side with Judy and respond positively so that the romance options open up.
Judy’s Romance Guide All Missions and Choices
Both Sides, Now
The first side job related to Judy will pop up after completing the main quest Double Life. Once you are done, wait in-game 24 hours or turn the clock to speed up this process. After this time, you’ll get a phone call from Judy. If you don’t get a call after 24 hours, make sure you are not near Judy’s residence or lab.
Judy will ask for help in this call so make sure to accept to help her. This will start her first quest, Both Sides, Now. If you refuse, Judy’s questline will end here. Make sure to accept and agree with Judy.
Ex-Factor
12 hours in-game after the Both Sides, Now quest, you will receive some texts from Judy. Reply to those as soon as possible and then wait 6 hours more. You will then get a call from her and a request to accompany her in her future endeavors. Make sure to accept this offer by selecting “Yeah, I’ll help” or else the quest would be concluded here. Once accepted, this will start the Ex-Factor quest.
Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution
Next comes the side quest Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution. Wait for a few days in-game and you will receive texts from Judy. Reply and then wait another 24 hours to get another call from Judy. Make sure you are away from her location. The quest will then take you to Judy’s apartment.
Go in and talk to Tom in the same friendly manner to keep Judy on your good side. Then Judy will start a conversation and here you need to select the specific option of “Out of the question” when she offers to pay you followed by “Sure Thanks”.
Don’t accept money from her as this can affect romance path for Judy in Cyberpunk badly. The second choice will give you time to recover as you stay over.
Pisces
The same thing will happen with you receiving a text after a few hours or a day in-game followed by a call after in-game 24 hours. This will start the quest, Pisces. Continue the pursuit and reach Hiromi’s office for the intended meeting. Once the conversation starts, select the following dialogue options.
- Let’s do this.
- Who are the other two?
- Do my best. Jack’ em out.
- Hold on. Think you’ve gone too far.
- Let’s cut to the quick.
Be prepared as after this option, you’ll need to take out your weapon and kill all the bosses present. Then turn to Maiko and select the following options.
- What?
- You tried to cheat us all.
After this, kill her. Killing Maiko is important as if you spare her, you will not succeed in romancing Judy. If you accept Maiko’s offer, as that is the only way to keep her alive, you’ll be siding with her and accepting her payment. This will destroy any chance of you romancing Judy.
Pyramid Song
Similar to the last few quests, you will get a text followed by a phone call both a few hours apart. Accept the offer and meet her at the quest marker to initiate the first date. As soon as you meet Judy, agree to go diving with her.
Once done, choose the option (Stand) Why not. Next, go turn on the generator as requested and go back into the cabin to find Judy in the bathroom. Knock on the door and talk to her. Select the option We’re still synced.
Following your dive and too tired to drive back home, agree to spend the night at the bungalow.
After turning on the generator and hearing Judy’s thoughts, return to the bungalow and knock on the bathroom door. Here you will want to ask Judy if everything is all alright. Upon opening the door, tell Judy “We’re still synced.” followed by “[Touch] It is ours.”
This will lead to both V and Judy to spend the night together. Wake up the next day and find Judy on the docks. When she asks about last night, select the option “The beginning of something amazing” to confirm the relationship with Judy.
After completing requirements for Judy’s Romance in Cyberpunk 2077, you can later hang out with Judy whether at her apartment, or text and call her for more adventures together.
