How to trigger the I’m in love with my car quest?
Before starting the I’m in love with my car quest, you need to reach a certain point in the game. Once you’ve completed the Playing for Time main quest in Act 2, you can then access this quest. This is the only requirement needed for the quest. You also need to be 20+ level but at this point, most of these players are of this level.
Next is the location of the quest which is to find the car. Go towards the Watson, Night City District, and look for a warehouse. Go to the northside and go inside the warehouse that is on the rightmost side and go inside. Here is the location on the map.

Go inside and you’ll see a weaponized car with Johnny Silverhand standing beside it. He is observing it and as you get closer, he urges V to get inside the vehicle. The prompt will appear for the I’m in love with my car. At this point, you first need to find the keys to this vehicle.
To find the key, look inside the messy boxes and fallen shelves behind the car.
