Best Home Base Locations in Palworld
Some items in Palworld like Ranch and Breeding Farms require quite large areas and you might not be able to build them unless the area below is completely flat. The same goes for large production assemblies that will be unlocked later in the game. The best home base location in Palworld must have ample flat area to meet all these needs in addition to providing natural barriers and beautiful views. These requirements are completely different from those of a mining base thus we have compiled another list of the top 5 locations for a home base in Palworld.
5. Ice Wind Island
Coordinates: -255, 42
This location is close to one of the spawn points in the north of the map. This is a decent location for both a mining base and a home base as it has a large open area and 6 ore nodes. Another good selling point for this location is that a lot of low-level water Pals spawn near this region which makes it easier to farm Pal Fluids.
It does not offer much in terms of Natural Barrier and scenery placing it at the bottom of our best Home Base locations for Palworld List.
4. Forgotten Island
Coordinates: -475, -87
This location is completely raid-proof and has 2 Ore nodes that will respawn every in-game day. It is on the island right next to the previous entry on this list. This makes it better than Ice Wind Island as it also has loads of beginner Water Pals that you can farm for Pal Fluids. In addition to all of that, this location offers aesthetic beauty if that matters to you.
3. Sea Breeze Archipelago
Coordinates: -194, -702
This location does not have a lot of resources but it has a vast flat area with amazing views, making it one of the best locations for a home base in Palworld. It is also located close to the volcanic island rich with sulfur making it easier to mine sulfur.
The only drawback of this location is the lack of any natural barrier making it easy to raid.
2. Marsh Island
Coordinates: 354, -362
One of our top 2 favorite locations for a base in Palworld is the south edge of Marsh Island. This lies between the starting area, Windswept Hills, and the far east Dessicated Desert.
This location offers a decent natural barrier and possibly the largest open space you can find in Palworld. This makes it an ideal location for a breeding or farming base. The breathtaking scenery is an added bonus but our Number 1 spot still has it beat.
1. Frostbound Mountain
Coordinates: 149, 151
This is located on the north edge of the Frostbound mountain. This area lies above the snowy region so you do not have to worry about bringing a Cold Resistant gear every time you come to the base. This location has better natural barrier and scenery than any other location on this list and a few other benefits that are not present in any other location. There is a chest that spawns every in-game day and a Black Marketeer that always spawns at the cliff right outside the base.
The Black Marketeer sells rare Pals that you can buy and his stock also renews every in-game day. All things considered, this is hands down the best base location for a home base in Palworld and we recommend moving your base here as soon as possible.
